Seattle - Day Two: Discovery Park, Homemade Pizzas

Tuesdays are my work day so I got up early and set up my computer in Adam and Devin's office. Everyone else kind of just hung around chilling. Lily helped Adam make pizza dough as we planned to use his Ooni pizza oven for dinner today.

In the afternoon, we packed everyone up and headed out to Discovery park. The kids really liked exploring the beach.

Emmett had a blast throwing lots of rocks in the water.

We started finding tons of crab claws and crab shells everywhere.

And then Joey found a LIVE crab! Before long we discovered there were dozens of live crabs everywhere under rocks along the shore.

Looking under rocks for crabs

Adam declared a contest for whoever could find the coolest thing at the beach, and we all found some pretty cool things. No official winner was declared.

After we got back from the beach, it was pizza time! The homemade pizza crust was delicious and the oven was super cool. We made eight pizzas, including two dessert pizzas, but turns out next time we should make even more!

Playing video games has been fun for the kids

They also have had fun playing with the dogs in the backyard

After dinner the kids went in the hot tub again and then we watched the movie "Almost Heroes" together.
